This is one way I'm annoyed with W8's Start screen. I wish W8 would take a programs Systray notification (like Thunderbird's little envelope icon) and put the graphic in the Start Tile for the program. On the old start, you saw the systray all the time, now you don't, so it's hard to keep up...
