    GIGABYTE USB3 controller not compatible with Hyper-V use an expansion Had the same problem. I found in another forum Windows 8 will boot OK with Hyper-V enabled if I disable GIGABYTE motherboard USB3 controller. Then I installed a DeLock 4xUSB3 PCI-e expansion card and now Windows 8 boots...
