I don't have a Windows 8 license key, just the OEM key that came with the computer, which will not register a retail Windows 8 copy. And I don't have a windows 8 install disk either.
AOMEI was the only backup software I could find that could backup an entire hard drive to the same drive, while the computer is booted into Windows.
Is there any other solution? I really don't want to have to reinstall Windows.

Data isn't my problem, I'm using a laptop that came with Windows 8 installed on it, and I can't really upgrade (I can't afford it).
I know the easiest route is to reinstall Windows, but I just want to make sure that I don't have any other solutions first.
