Okay here are the new logs. It looks like I have now been able to do all the windows updates and so I tried to update to windows 8.1 after about 2 hours it said it was unable to update and restored the previous version:think:

Well it is happening again. BSOD with error code kernel data page error. As soon as I can get it going again I will post a new set of logs. It is trying to do a windows update at the moment

Thank you for your response. Since I posted the question I have resorted to carrying out a factory reset. At the moment(fingers crossed) I have had no further BSOD. I am however unable to do a windows update. I am not too worried about this at the moment as I am just pleased that my 12 month old...
