Few months ago, I upgrade my Windows 8 to Windows 8.1

Ok finally updated.
I simply disabled the network adapter before installation and it works.
HOwever, another problem...
My screen resolution is weird, i set it to 1900 x 1080 but in fact, it is only showing 1600 x900..
Already updated to the latest nvidia driver...do i have to reinstall it?
3rd attempt and still failed.
So far, I've disable antivirus and all start-up programs and still crashed during the installation.
Also updated my Nvidia driver to the latest version as well....
I haven't try disabling the wifi from bios yet. It seems complicated....

After downloading 3 gig and then it installs automatically. THen it restart automatically and at 68% ("Getting Devices Ready: 68%" it crashed. Restarted it and it restored back to Windows 8..

I don't understand why some people keep saying that Tablet is the "new" way, and desktop is the "old"/"classic" way. It seems they misunderstand something very basic. Rather,they are just DIFFERENT ways of doing things and are co-exist together.

Using Windows 8 on my main machine now and so far so good. Overall performance is amazing even desktop mode is smoother than windows 7. I must admit that metro start screen is not as good as the previous start button/menu, but it's not too bad. One thing for sure, I always use desktop mode...
I installed the newest beta driver again(306.02) and it works this time! (Probably because it upgrade from 302.80)
Btw, it seems the nvidia driver scan (from the website) doesn't detect my driver version. Did you have the same problem?

Is it safe to use CCLeaner's registry cleaner to clean windows 8? I mean the os is still new and it might clean the wrong things? Or am I worrying too much?
