I tried for about a week on and off to get Java working in IE 10, in the end I gave up and went over to Chrome too, for some people it just refuses to run even though it is installed correctly. I have been working with PC's since the late nineties but it has beaten me. Still Chrome is OK.

NP brummyfan, thanks for trying :) No, reset doesn't work. Can anyone here go to the Java website for me and run the test to verifier Java is installed in their IE 10 desktop version. The test always fails for me. Verify Java Version Thanks.

OK I admit, I make websites, and as a webdev we have to make sites work on all browsers, so just using Chrome or FF doesn't help me either.

Hi win 8 people, anyone know what is going on with IE 10 and Java, a few sites I visit use Java but IE 10 doesn't seem to be able to run it, IE 9 was fine. Have installed the latest 64 bit version of sun Java but it still doesn't work. Any clues? Thanks
