Yes, there were some unresolved issues from the setup process and I have the same email address on the Admin account as on my user account. Microsoft had assigned my live account to the Admin so I could not use it for my every day account.

Well, after a call to Microsoft support and a lengthy session with them while they tracked down and fixed things, it now works again!!!! thanks to all who replied.
