    Random Freezes When Online

It seems your network card isn't recieving an IP address from the DHCP server in your router, and as such can't connect to the internet. I have no idea why this should cause the PC to freeze, but I recon you should install the drivers for your network card. Do other devices in the same network work?

    Solved windows release preview error

I'm pretty sure the Windows in the VM needs to be 64-bit as well, if the main OS is 64-bit.

    Solved windows release preview error

Yes, perfectly safe, they will reset if something goes wrong. However i doubt that will do anything. Are you trying to install a 64-bit OS? I'm guessing you have a 32-bit processor (Can we get the model?) and you're trying to install 64-bit Windows 8.

    Windows Defender

How did you install the OS? If you ran the installer and chose to keep all your files, it's possible it's an actual virus. However, if you chose "Install from media" or similar, the program downloaded a .ISO file which you had to burn to a DVD. If you have no idea what this last part means, you...

    Screen Resolution - RegEdit

Raising the resolution above the supported level will just make the screen scrollable to each direction, and not actually improve image quality at all. Any special reason you are trying to do this?

    No Games?

It seems that in the release preview there are no games pre-installed, including the ones you mentioned. In Windows 7, you would have to go to Control Panel -> Programs and Features -> Enable and Disable Windows Features and turn the games on. I just checked and there's no option for the games...

    Windows 8 x64 only?

From Intel, All the Core 2 Solo, Duo and Quad + i3, i5, i7 are 64-bit. Thats nearly ALL their processors, excluding Pentium and Celeron series, which are horrible anyway. This means most of Intels processors support 64-bit. And when Eight will be released, even more will have gone 64-bit.

    128-bit ONLY?

Well i woudnt be so sure. 64-bit OS's have a high level of support for 32-bit programs, so i think they'll just make it 64-bit, to get ppl off the old standard.
