FIXED! I uninstalled both games and installed Games for Windows Live (GFWL) then reinstalled. Worked like a charm. Weird because both games are for steam too. Funny because actually signing on to GFWL doesn't seem to work but I never use that service so doesn't matter to me. :D Hope it helps...
