Lenovo IdeaPad 110-15IBR Missing drivers after downgrading from Windows 10 to 8.1

Well the good news is that I bought a Wireless adapter on a USB and it arrived yesterday. Plugged it in and it worked a treat. That’s at least a temporary solution for now until I can work towards what you described. Whether or not I’ll ever get the remaining drivers working is questionable but...

Lenovo IdeaPad 110-15IBR Missing drivers after downgrading from Windows 10 to 8.1

Thanks for your reply. I’m not sure that page, but I have tried a similar one. I tried installing the .inf file from the 8.1 one you gave, and while it said the operation completed successfully, the problem still remains and nothing changed. I also have the Proset already installed. It’s...

Lenovo IdeaPad 110-15IBR Missing drivers after downgrading from Windows 10 to 8.1

No problem about Snappy. It was a risk I took of my own accord I guess, but things seem to be ok. At least for now I seem to have cleared it all. Yeah, I got the exe application. The other download which I saw was massive and I didn't think it was worth it. This is the link to what I think...

Lenovo IdeaPad 110-15IBR Missing drivers after downgrading from Windows 10 to 8.1

Well I tried 3DP Chip, and it fixed two of my drivers. I also tried Snappy Driver and even though it has seemed to have fixed 6 driver issues I'm very concerned because it seems to have installed adware on my computer and other unwanted programs. It also attempted to do something with a Trojan...

Lenovo IdeaPad 110-15IBR Missing drivers after downgrading from Windows 10 to 8.1

Well I'm mightily pleased you managed to get it all working in the end. As for me..... I'm not sure I'm going to be so lucky, unfortunately. My Wireless adapter is from the Intel AX200 series, which was only released last year. And my Chipset is pretty new too as well, which means I may also...

Lenovo IdeaPad 110-15IBR Missing drivers after downgrading from Windows 10 to 8.1

Seems like I'm not the only one who is downgrading from Windows 10 then. I can't stand the thing. Unfortunately most companies now take the view that they just don't support Windows 8 and don't care, they basically just force you to upgrade to Windows 10 by deliberately and knowingly removing...

    Wireless drivers issue

Hi guys, I recently purchased a laptop and downgraded it to Windows 8. I intend to upgrade to 8.1 on this machine, and so far everything works perfectly apart from one thing. I have a whole load of drivers in device management related to wireless networks that I can't install because I'm...

Use disk drive in VMware Workstation

Greetings, I recently purchased an old game which I sued to play, and it broke my Windows 8 laptop. Don't ask how, I think it was something to do with the boot configuration when I installed it, as the computer needed to restart to complete the installation. I want to play this game so I got an...

Windows couldn't connect to the group policy service

Ok, so I found a slightly different registry solution as the above does not work. See: All About Boats... So it goes...: Group Policy Client Services Error Windows 8.1 [FIXED] The video there shows you to do this. At first, everything was fine for me, other than the parameters had a capital I...

Windows couldn't connect to the group policy service

So I've just tried to do the registry trick and it hasn't done a thing. I've also uninstalled Chrome (had to do it manually) and this hasn't done anything either. I then ran another sfc scan, and that still hasn't done anything. Does anyone have any ideas what I can do?

Windows couldn't connect to the group policy service

No idea how this happened. Just turned my Computer off, started it yesterday, and got this error. Turned it off several more times and back on again and I'm still getting it. Had a look around and found a few potential solutions. I tried an sfc/ scannow but that hasn't done a thing to fix it...

Unable to delete file - access denied

Just finished an sfc /scannow command too. It says it found corrupt files but couldn't repair some of them. I've attached the CBS log it produced, but I can't find any mention of the issue I'm having in the log file. I've tried the chkdsk a few more times and tried deleting the folder a few...

Unable to delete file - access denied

Ok, a fair response from that. I ran the chkdsk command on reboot and it allowed me to delete one of the logs folder (which I believe was the duplicated one) and all the content inside. When I deleted the folder, all the content was deleted from the original folder though the folder itself...

Unable to delete file - access denied

Hi all, Thanks for replying, and sorry for my slow reply back in return. I haven't yet been able to remove the folder(s) and files inside them (they hold identical content). I've initiated a scan (just what MilesAhead recommended, see...

Unable to delete file - access denied

As the title states, I'm unable to delete two files on my computer (inside the folder 'logs' in the screenshot below), as I receive access denied errors. I've tried take ownership, through command prompt (as an administrator), Malware Bytes' File Assassin, and all of them say that I can't even...
