Right just a little update from what I gather it looks like maybe an ATI fire pro graphics driver issue with windows 8.1, so ill wait till the next driver update, and let you all know.

I did that straight away the settings are the same. It may not have been fixed mite have just got lucky maybe computer was doing something so as it wasent idle.

Bios settings all the same, haven't updated or modified drivers in ages but, I did double check you can change them in ati driver but it changes windows settings. I still haven't had a chance to test it will do tomoz and report back.
