I'm going with lumia 920. The reviews has this as the best phone yet, even better then the iPhone. Hopefully today we find out when they go on sale. Today is the big launch day for windows phone 8.

That sounds good. What happens if I buy a song on my win 8 phone, will it automatically go to my computer and same goes for if I buy a song on my laptop, would it also go to my desktop and phone?

I installed win 8 last night. I see x box app is installed. It's a little confusing for me. Is this mainly a streaming music service or can I buy single tracks? On most songs I previewed or listened to you can only buy the album. I will be dumping my iPhone once I get my hands on a windows...

I'm ditching my iphone next month most likely when nokia starts selling their wp 8 device so I will ditch the ipad too then for the surface.

What blew me away was windows 8 on the phone, the look and the way it operated and then bringing that same ui to the desktop. Awesome! But since I have been looking into the phones, the 900 looks pretty good.

I have been looking around the web for info on what device win 8 is going on because I'm super excited about going with a win 8. From my research it's going to be lumia 910 and Nokia has one month lead way of sale before going to other manafactures.

Does anyone if it is possible to jail break the first gen iPad and install win 8 on it?

Actually looking forward to dumping my iPhone for wp 8! I like how they will share the same ui. And I don't like apples restrictions. Hopefully there will be a phone that stacks up to the iPhone.

Are the apps the same for the phone and desktop or the apps different? What's it like? does your phone sync with your pc automatically? I think Microsoft also needs to roll out one big add for all the devices that win 8 runs and show how they work together. That will draw more people in.

I think the fact of the matter is to compete in todays market MS needs to make one software that will work with all your devices and I think MS has got it right with the new metro start menu. I think the desktop days are soon to be over. Just think about it, how fast windows will load up once...
