Hello!
I would like to disable the creation of these spam files totally. They provide features that I never use in the most cumbersome way.
Once upon a time there were registry keys that worked:

Hi!
I'm trying to install a driver for my old printer.
I used this old guide before and it worked, but I now get mentioned error:
Guide; How to add HP Laserjet 1010 / 1012 / 1015 Printer to Windows 8
I found a different guide, which also results in the same error message:

Hi!
I hate these sorely limited and ugly flat colors that I can choose from. Is there a registry tweak or a third party tool to change it to an image?
The closest I found was Decor8. But judging by the videos that only allows an arbitrary color, but replacement with a bitmap.
Hi!
I found no good way from importing specific registry data (for one application for example) to a new instance of windows. Ideally I could just load ntuser.dat/SYSTEM/etc and just import them to the active registry. Or at least export the keys in a reg file. (An option to edit offline...

Ugh. I can't find a way around getting a BSOD when trying to remove/update/disable/whatever the USB 3/3.1 host controller...
Any ideas? How can I wipe the driver manually? (In registry or removing driver files manually)
Yeah. I got fed up with the issues I had with win 10 not long after it was released so I got back to 8. I hoped it would get less buggy and stable. But I still here of more and more issues...
Maybe I'll try it again with the impending RS4 version.
I don't know either, but I think it might have caused all the suckage, when the installer tried to remove it. Causing a BSOD, which left me with some drivers removed, but no replacements installed.
Actually I'm running Win8, but I guess you meant that.
That problem is that I can't remove the driver. I tried removing the USB3 Host Controller, I tried updating the driver but I always got a BSOD.
You mean the new disk I have, which I want to use? Is that with the "keep personal files option"? (So does the "nothing" option mean a reset?)
(I of course know that the refresh feature does in the installed version. Not sure if I have the disk for it though)
