Sry If I bump an old thread but I've just used the .reg file to add the keys to my windows 8.1, the context menu shows up but the .exe don't launch they don't show up in the task manager at all, do the registry keys need to be tweaked in order to work in windows 8.1?
Actually it didn't hang it just reverted to showing the fragmentation percentage and recorded the error in the event log. Do you think this error could cause other problems in the future like making my partition corrupted? I have installed auslogics disk defragger for now and it works I guess...
I've never installed Macrium on this PC, the recovery drive failed on the first attempt during the format phase but then on the second try it worked fine, I hope my usb drive isn't dying lol
