Solved Switching Users without password
Oh. I already have local accounts (don't need the MS cloud and modern apps crap) but they need their own password for some remote control apps that I use. There is probably a registry hack for what I want but right now the problem is less trouble than the fix. Thanks anyway.- ardi

This is my problem too. It's just a nuisance to type a password as we switch back and forth during the day.Now I'll find out what local accounts are and learn something more about Windows. Thank you both.- ardi

Network Connection - Change Name in Windows 8
Many thanks.My local network has given me fits. When looking at the Network and Sharing page on any machine, the local network would appear as "Network n" where n could be 3, 5, 2, whatever. I thought that might be one of the things causing me trouble. As a result of your post they now all say...
