I am sorry that I am confused :( Do you mean the files Microsoft sent me when I bought Windows 8 PRO? They sent me files for the 32 bit not the 64 bit I want/need to get thing straightened out. Doing what I think your saying won't get me to the 64 bit will it, if I bought the 32 bit download...
If I now have Windows 8 32 bit can I still download the Windows 8 preview free and then put the Windows 8 pro back on as 64 bit?
Could someone please show me the link for the preview referenced and give me the best steps to do it properly? Thanks
All right since I last vented, Comcast took care of my connection there were issues. Now it is very fast again. The only problem I am still having is getting my Lexmark X5650 printer hooked up.
When I try I still get this message:
Print Driver was not installed. The printer driver is not...
The damage is done then the way I did it. I guess the best way is to restore to my Windows 7 and then do a fresh install. The hard part for me will be getting printer drivers set again and cable etc. This is my world. UGH
I downloaded Windows 8 Pro a week ago
My old Lexmark X5650 absolutely won't work with it. I get the NT Error and have given up on the printer. The print driver is not compatible with a policy enabled on your computer. NT 4.0 drivers.
Now my wireless internet has slowed to a crawl. I called...
My printer won't work at all on Windows 8 :( I get the following message:
The print driver is not compatible with a policy enabled on your computer that blocks NT 4.0 drivers
Any assistance would be appreciated. Thanks Anne
