    Yes, that does appear to be where the files are. Thank you so very much. If I burn these files to a CD-ROM, would this be same as if I had burned an image from the iso? Sorry for my ignorance.

    Tried that but never got the option to create an ISO. Only install now or install later from desktop.

    Well, I tried to install Windows 8 on my old Compaq Presario X1010US (running Win XP home) and the install failed due to the NX issue. I went into the bios and there is no option to enable NX. And there are no further flashes to the bios available. As I paid for the upgrade and was given a...
