yep sounds like the bios flashing program ran for you. you can confirm if it worked by checking that your bios version changed to a4l in the bios settings

Never had to do this myself so cant go into detail however the general overview is as follows: 1 burn drivers/ bios in dvd 2 navigate to the the dvd drive in dos. Not sure what the drive letter would be for your systemcd e:\ 3 navigate to the bios dos folder again using the "cd" command and...

It seems like your bios didnt downgrade properly because this is the issue I was facing before the downgrade. If you still have windows 8.1 , boot to that and follow the instructions previously provided

Sorry. no clue what's going on with that. Try to see if intel has video drivers on their website. or if so called "universal" video drivers work out. Good Luck!

Yep...like rfrayer mentioned, flash the bios and it should let you install windows 7 no point in upgrading to the latest bios from the acer website. I tried that already and it ends up locking your pc down even more. Good Luck!
