I activated Guest account and it had no problem remembering view-settings of My PC and Desktop. EDIT: Another issue I forgot to mention. I have had assigned some keyboard-shortcuts for some of my folders on my Desktop and none of these have worked on my Admin account since this problem began.

I think you misunderstood me :) Here is what I mean: To the left is my normal text and background color and to the right is the selected one. It looks like Word 2010 is automatically inverting the color of the selected text. Is there any way to change or customize that?
