Windows 8 Release Preview Installation Problems!

I have tried everything to install Windows 8 Release Preview onto my PC and it freezes at the end when it boots up on the last stage, and stays there.

I have tried to full format my HDD and nearly everything to try install it, still nothing working.
Im not 100% sure but could it be the PC it-self? Windows 7 also refuses to install, XP is the only one that works for me.

I have tried using only 2 sticks of RAM, using one HDD.

I really dont want to be stuck on XP, I heard that Windows 8 was coming out October 26 for $40 upgrade so im not sure if that will work even!

    Please respond.

To help you rule out the problem please fill your exact system specs on the lower left of your post. Or you can fill it thru your user CP.

Seems like you are running low on minimum requirement needed to install OS.
    What are your system specs?

Without knowing your spec it is uneasy to offer you any possible solution.
But you might want to check out with BIOS setting if it has explicit setting for XP or Vista(else) as some model have it. Win 8 will install on many old machines. Considering yours is said only 1 year old, then there should be anything in the BIOS that prevent it from install.
Did you already try resetting BIOS to default setting?

That spec is for sure has no problem with Win 8. What motherboard do you have?
You can start by first resetting BIOS to default setting, then see if the installation disk run into boot process. Sure if you have any valuable data you then need to back it up first.
    Post back the result.

First off -> Welcome to EightForums, ZervR.

Thanks for the specs, but please fill that out in your profile if you have not done so and, of course, if you so choose. It is handy for those who want to help.

    Good suggestion Kevin!

Also, ZervR, please read through the first part of Installation section of Suggested Steps To Take Installing And Setting Up Windows 8

    Hope that helps.

Try ALT+F10 to reset to factory settings, then retry the installation.
