I'm having issues installing Windows 8 Release Preview on my Alienware M17x. I created a RAID 0 setup in the RAID control software, then rebooted into the Windows 8 install. It seems however that whilst I can partition the RAID (one partition), it won't let me install to the drive(s). Instead I've had to remove the RAID setup and install to one HDD, which is most irritating!
Anyone else had this problem and knows how it may be resolved successfully with RAID?
