Everything went fine until I got to the screen to name the PC. Would not take any input from keyboard. Just made a backup of Winxp media on the machine before without any trouble, now nothing. After 15 minutes, checked the batteries just for the heck of it, they were almost dead. New ones allowed me to continue:p. Next problem was not getting an email from MS verifying my email, that took 3 hrs. So after another hour or so, I am pretty mad at just trying to interface with the os, I will have to keep playing with it, can't seem to get it to do much except watch movie trailers, check the weather, the mail interface is just plain irritating. The screen is very big, have to continually slide it horizontal to see it all. Screen Res was set to highest during install, if there is a way to resize it, would appreciate help here. This is only the preview version, hope the RTM is much better.

Welcome to the forums!

Mail problems....
Is that an online account? Just try to use a normal (local) Windows user account just like we did from the beginning of time and see if all goes well.
