If it shutdowns/restarts without issue and doesn't freeze while using it - you'll be good to go

(btw, you're missing a c in switching in your OS field )

The only think that annoys me on RP is that I couldnt get AutoCAD 2012 installed (2011 works fine).

Hmmm... I have AutoCAD 2013 as well as MAX 2013 (both x64) and they work well... I have been running Windows 8 for 2 days now and installed all programs I used before and no problems yet.

Windows 8 stable enough? in General Support
Just curious, is Windows 8 stable enough to run as a secondary system? My primary system at work is Win 7 and at home is OSX, but my laptop bounces between the two and is running Ubuntu Linux 10.04. Given I replace Linux with Windows 8 has anyone seen any show stopping bugs which might prevent me...
