Hi

I have Sony Vaio laptop and am having trouble installing Windows 8. The computer does not currently have an operating system and I'm trying to install from a a dvd copy of Windows 8 Pro.

When I start the installation I get to prompt that says;

'We could not find any drives to get a storage driver, click to load driver'

"To install the device driver for your drive, insert the installation media containing the driver"

"No device drivers found make sure that the installation media contains the correct drivers, and them click ok"

I the dvd I have does not have any drivers and I've tried to use one on the website, 'ReimageRepair.exe' but I still do not have driver that the installation accepts.

Does anyone know what driver I need and where to get it?
Additionally, I think I need to use command prompt to designate the hard drive and wonder if anyone knows how?

go to the MFG's website and download the drivers for your laptop'

It appears you need to point to the SATA storage driver

Hi

I tried that on sony and windows; I download every driver they had in reference but still get a message telling me that I don't have a signed driver.

Any thoughts as to what I should do?

Thanks for your help.
