possible to manke installation disk of freshly updated pc

is it possible to make a installation disk of the OS i have into a installation iso? im asking because it sucks downloading all updates every time i install windows 8.1. so that is why i ask if its possible to make a installation disk of my updated windows 8.1. of course no programs are installed just the basic os with all updates installed.

Welcome to the forum. It is possible but not simple. What you can do is download a free cloning software and make an image of your system if you need to install you boot from the disk you can make from the cloning software and use the image which will put it back in a very short time. You can install you programs and then do an image so a reinstall will give you a system with software as well. You will need another disk, partition or DVDs to create the image

Not exactly an install disk, but what Samuria has suggested is actually a much better way to do it. You can use free software such as Macrium Reflect to create an exact clone of your system completely installed and ready to go. Restoring from an image is much faster than re-installing as well.
