You can download Windows 8.1 from here. Burn a new DVD or place it on a USB flash drive and try installing again. Make sure you install the same version of Windows that your new computer came with (Home or Pro). If you install a different version it will not activate. If you use the correct version, it will not ask for a key, it will automatically read the one in the BIOS.

You can download and run ShowKeyPlus. It will read the key in the BIOS and tell you your original version. You are going to have to install Windows on you new computer for it to work. Here is the link to ShowKeyPlus.

Thanks for your kind response,

I want to mention that I cannot access my laptop because there is no windows installed on it, so I want to know how can I know the version of the windows installed before, is ShowKeyPlus will make me able to know that by startup?

If not is there any other similar bootable software that make me able to know the version installed.

[EDIT] I just thought of it. You can use Kyhi's Windows 10 Recovery Tools to go on the internet and download Windows 8.1 Single Language.

I don't know any other method of downloading Windows 8.1 without a working computer. Do you have a copy of Windows 7? You can temporarily install that just to download Windows 8.1.

Do you have any family members or friends that will let you download Windows? Do any of them have a copy of Windows 7 or 10 you can borrow?

The last thing I would suggest is to check with your local computer repair shop. See if they will make you a copy of Windows 8.1. Tell them you don't need a key, that would be much more expensive. You could also check eBay. I found a DVD with all versions of Windows 8.1, 64 and 32 bit for $5.89. US.
