Hi, I know there's been a lot of question about this error but it doesn't really explain much for me and so I need to ask again.
So my laptop went into a long update session for about 1 hour from (Shutdown and Update) and when I start it up again, it goes to the startup where the computer manufacturer logo is shown in this case Lenovo and says something about updating the laptop. It's stuck at 3% for a long time and because I can't use it, I somehow decide to factory reset the laptop. So the progress goes from 0 to 69% in around 15 minutes and it's been like this for almost 2 hour with no progress at all. There's a "scratching" sound from the laptop and I guess it means that it's working but isn't 2 hour with no progress at all is too long? Then now I'm thinking that I should've wait for the update even if it took too long. Now I'm confused what should I do? Should I wait for the PC to reset or should I force shutdown it and continue the update if it's even ok to do? I don't really need the data inside the laptop since there's no important data but still it's frustrating. My laptop have windows 8.1 pre-installed since I bought it. Thanks
