All components within that PC will have part # and brand names (generic, or name brand) that will allow you to go to said part(s) webpage and ID it, and see the settings for said components. Even with older parts say circa 1990s parts and setting are still available to this very day. As a matter of fact, I had to find settings/component list for a circa 1990s Compaq Presario 9640 (P1_90MHz CPU) Desktop/PC that came with Windows 3.1, and a GIANT 45meg (Yes meg) hard-drive. Back then believe it or not, they used a chip on the mobo for the video card, NOW that was a nightmare to find drivers for it, but with research, updating the BIOS, new ISA (used actually) Video card it is now running, nicely Unbuntu Linux, NOW if I can get this updated, upgraded you shouldn't have a problem doing it.
