Repair Install of Windows 8?

How can I do a Repair Install of Windows 8?

I am working on this computer for someone. Its an HP Pavilion 17.

It has multiple drives installed. 2 partitions are hidden.

I would like to get to the factory settings and restore it.

I have 2 Product keys for it. The one for the Windows 8 OS that someone installed on top of the factory Windows 8 OS and the factory Windows 8 OS.

OS - Windows 8 64-bit
Processor: AMD A4-515M APU with Radeon(tm) HD Graphics
HP Pavilion 17 Notebook PC
Serial Number: 5CD3328MP7
Product Number: E0J76UA#ABA

Advanced System Options are not available. All it will let me do when I go to Advanced Options is to access the UEFI Firmware Settings.

First are You running Win 8 or 8.1 ?? I'm having a hard time understanding the two key thing. Did the PC come with Core installed and then Pro was installed over it ? Also with the partitions, could You download https://www.partitionwizard.com/free-partition-manager.html and post a snip of the partitions ? The Key for the OS it came with is embedded in the BIOS so a fresh install of Win 8.1 Nov 2014 might be the best option. You might also place the ISO on the desktop, mount it and run a upgrade install if You need to keep anything on the OS.

How do I post a snip of the partitions? It came with Windows 8 (Not 8.1) 64-bit preinstalled but someone installed 8 (Not 8.1) on top of the factory installed 8 OS.

I fixed it by creating a Windows 8.1 bootable media USB stick from Microsoft. Installed 8.1, ran all of the updates, and upgraded it to Windows 10. The only problem now is that each time it boots up or restarts, it says "Scanning and repairing drive at 100%". Windows Update pretty much installed all of the required drivers. I downloaded and ran HP Support Assistant, and it also downloaded and installed a required driver for it. The sad thing is, I still can't get it to boot to HP Recovery. But I am not going to worry about it. It's fixed and that's all that matters.

Well HP Recovery would be for windows 8 really wouldn't be useful since your running window 8.1 or 10
Your hardware is registered with MS Activation Servers as 10 so for clean install you would go straight to 10
If you really want an image to restore, create one with Macrium Reflect Free or some other Imaging software
