First off....if you use the "Classic Shell" you can disable all Active Corners. That solves that problem, permanently.
Then go into your Program files Menu and Right Click on the Control Panel and select "Create Shortcut". It will make the shortcut, and put it on the desktop. Job done.
I did that just once, and then added that shortcut to a folder called "Desktop Shortcuts" that I keep on my utilities CD. Then I use a little batch file to copy those shortcuts to the Desktop, on a new install. So with just a click of the mouse, on that batch file, I get all my chosen desktop shortcuts placed on my desktop in about one second. Don't work harder, , , work smarter!
