I Can't install win 8 32 bit

I have two computers 1 running Windows XP and another running Windows 7. I decided to install windows 8 on the XP Machine but that only has 1GB of memory, and I didn't really want to install on that machine the Windows 7 machine also only has 1GB of memory, so I thought I would try to install the 32bit system on that because I could get away with 1gb, except I used the wrong disk (the 64 bit) to do the install. No problem I thought I will start all over again and put the Windows 8 32bit in this time....

The problem I have is the computer thinks I am trying to install the windows 64bit version and wants me to replace the 32bit disk with the 64bit one. No matter what I try I can not get pass this point.

If any one has ant idea what to do I would be obliged.............

Hmmmm. I don't really know. Maybe the only thing you could do is format the hard drive so it wouldn't be able to tell a previous install had been attempted?

Are you booting from the DVD, or launching the DVD from within Windows?

If Win8 is like Win7, you'll need to boot from the DVD to install a different bit depth.

2nd thing if you use DVD/CD as installer boot your computer and change the DVD/CD drive as boot up, if this didn't work then let us know.
