Hi I would like to try 8.1 with WMC can anyone suggest where I can get a trial version please.

As Kyhi says, there is no official WMC install other than an upgrade from Pro with a genuine key. Besides MS has discontinued it.

However, you can unlock the edition from a retail Pro iso.
Including ei.cfg will bypass key entry and operate in evaluation mode.
