Reverting from Win10 using Macrium System Image of Win8.1

Hi

Help answering a few questions please, would be appreciated ...

If I revert from Win 10 back to Win 8.1 by restoring an old Macrium system image, am I going to have any activation issues under Win 8.1?

And given that Win 10 has now been activated on my machine, what'll happen if I keep Win 8.1 until after 29th July next year and then decide that I need/want Win 10 after all? My machine's Win 10 activation is on Microsoft's servers now, so maybe as a result of that, I'll now be able to put Win 10 back after the free upgrade offer deadline? Or will reverting to Win 8.1 undo that ability?

And also, another option for me is to revert to Win 8.1 as suggested above, and then dual boot with Win 10 on a second SSD using as my update license, an old deactivated copy of Win 7 Home Premium Retail that I have from an old machine. How long will it be until the newly publicised option is available to clean install a Win 10 ISO using Win 7 or Win 8 license keys rather than having to do the annoying in place upgrade before being able to clean install?

Thanks

Yes you can Restore Windows 8.1 without issue using Macrium..

Since your PC has a recorded windows 10 activation -
you can clean install windows 10 anytime, forever on that PC..
Just skip over when asked for product key..

Yes it is also said the new version will accept 7/8.1/10 product keys as well..

I want to use Macrium because I want to restore my program state from 2 months ago, not just Win 8.1

So is that new version the one I'll get if I download a Win10 ISO today or is it not live until a certain date?

Sorry but next silly question, if I wait for that Nov Win10 ISO and use my Win7 retail license key to install it, will that Win7/10 retail license key remain portable to a new computer in the future?
