Hey Guy's, I know different people have different preferences but is it a good idea to upgrade to 8.1 ?

Can some send me to a Step-by-Step or Tutorial to upgrade to 8.1, so I do the correct job with no mistakes.

Thanks Tommy

I've never seen a red band like you describe. All I see is the Get Windows 10 icon in the System Tray of the Taskbar.

I was just wondering if 8.1 was a good idea. I guess I should have call it a reading from left to right across the screen. It would ask me if I wanted to update 8.0 to 8.1 or remind me later. I have never had anything on my Taskbar about 10.
Thanks for the suggestions.

Ah, sorry. I so focused on Windows 10 I forgot this was a Windows 8 forums.

I'd say yes, you should definitely upgrade to windows 8.1 since support for Windows 8 has ended or will end soon. If you ever want to upgrade to Windows 10 you have to have 8.1 installed.
