I have a product key that only works for Windows 8. When Windows 8.1 came out I purchased the upgrade but did not receive an additional product key. I know Windows 10 will be rolled out very soon and I would like to get a clean install after the upgrade. How can I accomplish this? I mean I want to format my computer with fresh Windows 10. I have the live Windows 8 installation disk which I can use to install Windows 8. But my product key does not work with Windows 8.1 installation disks.
No details yet, we know this will be possible to do a clean install after you upgrade to Windows 10. Just do not know when and how it will be done yet.
