HDD partition help needed (by removing drive from laptop)

I have a laptop which i got from university. It came with windows 8.1 pro installed in GPT mode, UEFI enabled and secure boot enabled.
I managed to turn off the UEFI and change it to legacy type, then turned off secure boot.
I want to know something while you format the drive and make partitions. There is something confusing.

If you remove the drive from laptop, connect it with a USB kit and connect it to another computer (say desktop) via USB and use a software such as "ease us partition master" to make the partitions of the hard drive. It will make partitions setting one primary and other as logical. That is simple. BUT it won't make that "system reserved space" of approximately 250MB or something and an non-partitioned space of 8MB.
However if you make partitions using windows installation media, it will make those two drives. I want to know what is the real purpose behind them? Are they really needed? If i make partitions via some external partition master and don't make these two drives, will the operating system be installed fine?

Here is some info:

UEFI Boot Mode (installing using the GPT partition style) and Legacy BIOS Boot Mode (installing using the MBR partition style). -> link

If you select Legacy BIOS Boot Mode (not marked UEFI in the boot menu).

- If your hard drive is blank, the Windows setup program creates the following partitions on your hard drive (see screenshot below).

Partition table:
- MBR (Master Boot Record)

Two partitions:
- System Reserved - The Boot Configuration Data (BCD).
- Primary - Where Windows is to be installed to.

If you select UEFI Boot Mode (marked UEFI in the boot menu).

- If your hard drive is blank, the Windows setup program creates the following partitions on your hard drive (see screenshot below).

Partition table:
- GPT (GUID Partition Table)

Four partitions:
- Recovery - The Windows Recovery Environment tools. This partition does not exist in Windows 7.
- System (EFI system) - The Boot Configuration Data (BCD).
- MSR (Reserved) - Microsoft Reserved.
- Primary - Where Windows is to be installed to.

Note: The MSR (Reserved) partition is not visible within Disk Management utility, but it is listed with command line utility (diskpart).

My point was not that dear. I don't want to format the drive using GPT system (it was previously in GPT). I have formatted the drive in MBR or BIOS. I also Don't need UEFI mode at all. I have turned it off.
All i was asking dear, was if i format the drive by removing it from laptop, connecting it to USB kit and connecting it to desktop system and make the partitions using "ease us partition master" or any such thing. It will NOT make "system reserved".

I am asking, if i ignore this "system reserve" and continue making partitions externally and then put it inside laptop and install the OS. Will it be fine?

create partition primary (Creates a partition that takes up the whole disk - if you want to specify a size add size=80000 for an 80 GB partition) NOTE, if you create a partition with less space than the full disk, create a second partition now as well, taking up the rest of the space (Giving the Windows System Reserved partition nowhere to run to!)*

When loading an system to a new disk the best way is to boot from the Windows DVD. If there are previous partitions, delete them until the disk is unallocated space and then install windows , it will create the efi partition and main partition automatically while it installs Windows.
