Hello, I have recently built a new computer, and before anyone asks, yes it is compatible with 64 bit operating systems. I had already possessed a copy of 32 bit windows xp, so I have installed that. I then proceeded to download an iso file of windows 8 64 bit. When I extracted the files however, I was surprised to find out that you are not able to run a 64 bit installation file on a 32 bit operating system. I am fully aware of how to create a bootable dvd or usb as a method of installation, yet at the moment I am out of dvd's and usable flashdrives. I am wondering if it is possible to boot from the iso file while it is still on your hard drive? If not, is there any other way to install it given my available materials (hard drive, and a laptop running Win 8.1)? Thanks for the help.
