Dual Boot Uninstallation

I'm currently dual-booting Windows 7 and 8.1. I initially made a separate partition for 8.1 on my secondary SSD, but now would like to combine the partitions into a single drive again. If I was to delete the partition where the OS is installed, would I be able to reinstall it with my product key?

your product key is tied to your PC - so if you where to remove the OS > you could re-install it on the same PC without issue..
