Hi all
I installed Windows 8 as an upgrade from Windows 7 the other day in an unexpectedly painless procedure. After some initial scepticism, I now find that I really like what Microsoft have done and the OS is intuitive and easy to use.
The only problem I have found is that there seems to have been a fault with my "Search" functionality install. In all the blogs and forum posts I have read there is an option to search Apps, Settings and Files above the metro applications that you can also search. Unfortunately these three options are missing for me and I can only search within the metro applications. I have hunted through the settings and can only turn the metro applications to search on or off. There are no options (that I can see) to include the three most important!
Anyone have any ideas?!?
