Hi there
I'm normally fairly tolerant and give things a fair go --but I had to revert to CONSUMER PREVIEW after attempting the latest version of W8.

I don't know what I did wrong but the ONLY drive I could access was my "C" drive and an external USB drive.

Trying to change permissions didn't help --kept bombng out with "Security enumerator failed" or crytic messages like that.

Now I've got 14 partitions on this computer and I haven't got time to go through all the B/S in trying to set individual rights for sub-folders etc.

I couldn't even get access to my Virtual machines to start them.

This IMO was even WORSE than the User Account control that VISTA had.

I'm sure I can fix this --but I haven't got the time or patience to do it today -- why it just didn't take the permissions from W8 Consumer preview I don't know.

Can't use my music streamer either. !!! or any network printing (can't access the drives).

I'll try later bit my first attempt -- HUGE disappointment.

Cheers
jimbo
