Solved pc not responding

pc was not responding to any commands.. so thought i would do a reinstall, however when i get to the format part,, it says windows cannot be installed to this disk,, the disk is gpt partition style ....help please

go into your bios settings and disable Legacy support as your PC is using UEFI support and booting in legacy mode..
or when booting up PC go into your boot menu and select the UEFI boot option for the USB/DVD

Boot in UEFI Boot Mode, so you can use GPT (GUID Partition Table).

That is because Windows can only be installed to MBR disk in Legacy BIOS Boot Mode, but you plan to install Windows on a GPT disk.

- Boot in UEFI Boot Mode, so you can use GPT (GUID Partition Table).
- But if you want to use MBR (Master Boot Record) partition table, then delete all partitions on the disk.

That is because Windows can only be installed to GPT disk in UEFI Boot Mode, but you plan to install Windows on an MBR disk.

thank you for responding. problem solved, i can breath again thank's load's genet for the easy to follow screen shot's. kyhi much appreciated thank's guy's
