Solved Bummer... No upgrade.
No upgrade from CP to RP. Only a clean install. Now I have to reload all my software. However on a plus side, there appears to be more color schemes for Metro. Or so it appeared to me.

I don't download from those sources. MSDN and that tool is not listed under available downloads for Windows 8 RP. Makes no difference most of my software is already back. WDS ZTE packages ftw.

Do you have an MSDN account? If so log in and look under the windows 8 rp section at the 10 downloads that are available. The tool you suggest is not there. I do not generally download from the public servers as they are slow. MSDN allowed me to download both 32 and 64 in about 12 min total time for both. Either way its a moot point. Installed and had my software back in in less than 2 hours. All my data is stored off in the cloud.
