unable to install windows 8 or 8.1

Hi
I am currently running windows 7. This is my configuration...
Asus m5a78l-m/usb3 motherboard
Amd fx 6300 processor
Corsair vengeance 8gb ram
Sapphire r7 260x 2gb ddr5 GPU

I am unable to install windows 8 or windows 8.1 in my system either with DVD or USB.

At the first boot it freezes at the boot screen... I HV tried so many iso but the same happens... Whether its custom install or upgrade.

I HV tried so many methods but nothing works...

This should be nice clean reliable download, Create installation media for Windows 8.1 - Windows Help, it will also give you the option to create install media. I've had no issues using it on my UEFI laptops and legacy BIOS desktops. I had a similar issue trying to install Windows 10 on my desktop PC. After multiple attempts in desperation I tried installing from a DVD and it worked. Surprised me. One thing I noticed is it can take a long time for something to happen on the first boot to your install media. Just wait it out, look for drive activity. My screen goes black for a while but the activity led on my thumb drive flickers away.
