Solved Reinstalling win8

I bought an asus laptop a few years ago and over time my parents installed all kinds of crap on it so i want to just reinstall windows. But it came with preinstalled win8 (later i got win8.1) so i don't have an installation cd. Is there a way to do this without the cd?

p.s. I'm still learning english so feel free to correct me if i made any mistakes.

If you like, you can use OPTION ONE in the tutorial below to download a Windows 8.1 ISO file from Microsoft to use to create installation media with.

With that option one do i get win8 with which the laptop was bought with or win8.1 to which i later upgraded to? And also could i use the option to put it on a flash drive instead of the ISO file?

The W8.1 iso you can get from here and a flash drive is no problem.

You can download a 8.1 ISO, create installation media with the ISO, and be able to clean install Windows 8.1. It will automatically get your product key from your UEFI firmware chip since the key is embedded in it on OEM PCs that came with Windows 8/8.1 preinstalled.
