Yup you have core as Index 2.... Thus changing references in the script to index 2 should get you a core install..

BTW: For a dirty way of downgrading - see here - I'm not sure how it plays with wimboot though.

Right click the script click edit -> replace -> Find what: /Index:1 -> Replace with: /Index:2 - > click Replace All

    Do the same for /SourceIndex:1

    - save the file.

    dont see the option replace.
    only:
    mark
    copy
    paste
    mark all
    roll
    search

oboy i hope this works now.

copying both files in to the source folder on my recovery usb drive.
the files you want are the boot.wim and the install_wimboot.wim (renamed to install.wim on recovery usb)

I have used this script on every PC I deploy windows to.. I have made changes just for you and your issues..
you should now have a Base folder with a boot and install wim > both not needed or used.
you should have in your wintel folder boot, install, and install-wimboot wim's
the boot.wim is the same for both a std recovery and wimboot recovery.. the install.wim is for std recovery and install-wimboot.wim is for wimboot recovery.. Since you have wimboot recovery media you need to use the install-wimboot.wim, BUT you must rename it to install.wim to use it.. The wimboot ID was put there to ID the different wim styles..

you will have to insert the recovery drive, then go through the charms bar and boot from recovery usb - not windows Recovery Reset..

it also appears you need to use index 2 - easy enough to change in script
I have not tested index 2 but changed the script as per Superfly

beacuse there is an recovery partition also on the hdd.

You're welcome - good to find a loving home for those old keys

...I think the USB you installed from will be the recovery - Wimboot does not need a separate partition. Kyhi knows more about those things tho'.

You can now go into control panel > recovery > create a recovery drive
This will setup the recovery usb using the current images
    Basically remake your recovery USB

    from cmd prompt admin

    diskpart
    list disk
    list volume
    select disk 0
    list partition

post a pic of cmd window
