Yeah, managing attachments on this forum is a real pain. On the sevenforums it is so easy to delete an image, but here it seems to be impossible - at least I have not yet found the trick. Maybe John ot Shawn can enlighten us. I will click the report button to get their attention.

You will not find the correct installation media, if you have an OEM computer that came with Windows 8.1 with Bing or Windows 8.1 Single Language with Bing preinstalled.

And, to reiterate what I did. I downloaded Microsoft's Media creation exe, having selected Windows 8.1, wrote the ISO file to a d.v.d., booted from it, entered the OEM key and was told by the system that it wasn't recognised/valid whatever. I tried three times .
The additional information, above, means nothing to me, but it might be interesting to those following this thread.
Thanx, that certainly is interesting ... Single Language with Bing is rare... can only assume the HP guys used the wrong image initially and then did an upgrade - would be interesting to see if others have similar installs (i.e two OEM keys)

In have avoided uncertainties over key compatibilities by buying a retail Windows 8.1 d.v.d. from Microsoft.
Out of curiosity I ran ShowKey. This is what it says .....

Thanks David. That's where I went all the time but my deletes did not work. Must have done something wrong. Will try again next time.
