I installed Win 8.1 Update 1 in a VM (without serialkey) to prepare it with updates and software which is needed on six computer with it's users.
So I installed and updated everything I needed and created all the users with passwords etc.
Now I was thinking I do
sysprep /generalize /oobe and shutdown the VM and open it in an image viewer to copy the data over to the computers which should be updated to 8.1.
Is this possible in the way I'm describing it to you or can I do something like create a install.wim (or esd)?
All I read is something about an unattendend.xml file. But that is not needed in my case I think. Because I did everything what a unattended.xml could not do for me.
