Hi there!

Im installing windows 8 pro on my computer which used to have win 7. I've downloaded the ISO-fie and burnt it on a flash drive. I've rebooted the computer and get to the installation of windows, I get to type in languages and choose if I want to completely refresh it or just update. I chose go completely refresh, I delete the old partions of my SSD but leave the OEM-portions. Then press continue. After that the computer is installing and restarts after which I go through the same process again only with a new partion created.

Help me me out and I would be this:dinesh: happy!

No, I've downloaded it already, booted the computer from a flash drive with the file and now I can't move past that stage. It reboots from the flash drive each time it restarts (which it does automatically with the installation....

what version of software x86 or x64

and what is on those two HDBR partitions??

looks like oem win 7 recovery partitions

You have two disks > what is the rest on disk 1??

partition selection should be primary

64 since that's what I had on win7.

I don't know what's on there, it came with the computer but I assumed it was something that Fujitsu preinstalled and wouldn't mess with the operating system. Would you delte them as well?

And yeah apparently I have two disks. When I delte everything (except from the ode) I end up with two discs of "allocated space". Then after "doing the installation" I end up with a part of the selected drive as a partion of a few hundred Mb and the other one with something installed on it. But I keep coming back to that same place

Do you know if the pc has two drives.?
Is there any data on the pc you need off of it?

Right Now your disk partition is a logical - which means it is a partition within a partition

your picture cuts off after partition 1 on disk 1 - whats the rest of it

There's no data on it. And no, I thought it only had one SSD 128 GB.

Yea, maybe the old pic was no goo. When I delete everything except from the ode s this is what it looks like. Now I tried once installing it on drive 0 and once on drive 1 and pulling out the flash drive but it says the same thing. I get back to the boot menu:

Thank you you for helping me out!

okay, yeah I did that. But it says on the box that it has -20GB reserved for system recovery and I can't get that to go away. I've cleaned disk 0 and disk 1 now and it's still not cooperating. Now I have disc 0 and 1 of allocated space but it's still going back to the boot menu after installation

Any other suggestions?

Thank you but I'm still not getting past that same stage. I'm starting to think that maybe there's something wrong with the Windows I'm trying to install. Don't know what it could be but. Yeah.
I cleared the disc but it still shows up as two disks. I checked the computer manual and it says that around 20 GB is reserved for system recovery. I clean all-ed both and it still goes back to the same boot menu screen....
