Upgrade From 8 to 8.1 Won't Install

I have been given this Lenovo Yoga 11 laptop running Windows 8 RT to be upgraded to 8.1 RT. Every time I download the 8.1 update from the Windows Store it gets to 'Checking Compatibility' and then displays this error.

Couldn't install Windows RT 8.1

You need to install one or more updates to your firmware or device drivers. Open Windows Update, install all available updates, and then try installing Windows 8.1 again.

It's beyond frustrating as I have now reset the laptop to factory settings and installed all the Windows 8 updates 3 times before attempting the 8.1 update in the store. Each time has produced this message. There is no other missing drivers or updates that I know of which are missing.

I have also tried the 'fix' suggested by MS in this post... it didn't work.

I Couldn't Install Windows RT 8.1 In My Dell XPS 10 - Microsoft Community

Being RT there can't be any missing or incorrect drivers because it's a closed system with everything delivered only through Windows Update. The laptop is on the latest firmware provided by Lenovo in 2013.

What else can I do / check? I really would appreciate the help with this. Thanks.

Hmm...

I'd maybe give this a go, but being that you restored the system and can't get it to update, I'm not sure if this will work.

Run CMD as an administrator. Enter this command.

dism.exe /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth

Thanks for the reply, I gave that a go and it still wouldn't go through. I found out that the laptop is under warranty so I let Lenovo deal with it. Windows RT and the update process through the store were terrible ideas.
