Hello,
Can I create a Windows installation image and put it on an SD card and then using the laptop's built in SD card reader to install Windows from there if ever needed?
Thanks :D

It depends on your model. I have a lenovo also (x201 - don't know what your model is) and I can boot from card reader. I keep a recovery image on an old 512MB SD card in it just in case. It is pretty convenient as I can't forget it and don't have any other use for the card reader.
